The damage ran past the siding.

PB removed the failed exterior siding and exposed framing that also required replacement. The affected walls were stripped back so reconstruction could begin from sound structure.

This was a building-rescue sequence: selective demolition, temporary support, structural repair and a completely new weather-resistive exterior.

Project scope

What PB delivered.

The work is shown plainly, from the starting condition through the completed result.

Selective exterior demolition
Failed-siding removal
Rotten-stud removal
Temporary support walls
Wall stabilization
Exterior-wall reframing
Replacement stud framing
New structural sheathing
Housewrap
Weather-resistive barrier
Metal-siding installation
Final sealing and weatherproofing

How the work came together

Construction with context.

01

Stabilize + rebuild

Support first. Then reframe.

Temporary support walls held the building while rotten studs were removed.

PB reframed the damaged walls, installed new structural sheathing and wrapped the building.

02

Close the envelope

Sealed against the weather.

Finished metal siding completed the exterior and left the building sealed and weatherproof.

After the work, the owner listed the property and it sold within one month. That is project sequence, not a claim that the reconstruction caused the sale.

When rot is hidden behind siding, the honest scope starts with opening the wall and rebuilding from sound structure.
